We have an opening for a CADWorx Drafter/Designer to work in the Pasadena, TX.   

Opportunity Snapshot:

• Compensation: $35-55/hour DOE
• Location: Pasadena, TX
• Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+
• Assignment Duration: Long term
• Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401K, PTO and Holidays 

• Develop mechanical Details and Assemblies as required for fabrication and installation of retrofit and new projects onsite.
• Work with Mechanical Engineers to ensure that all applicable codes, specifications and standards are met and reflected in designs.
• Work with the machine shops and vendors as needed during the design & fabrication phases of mechanical component development.
• Field measure equipment and piping.
• Maintain master drawings by picking up red-lines from personnel and maintaining drawing records in an SAP database.
• Coordinate the execution of small projects by interfacing with other design disciplines, engineers, maintenance, and construction.

• 5-10+ years of experience in similar onsite facility environment.
• Ability to take accurate field dimensions, including reading mics and calipers.
• Cadworx experience is required as well as previous experience in the design of mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to draw to scale is required.
• Experience with 3D solid modeling software is preferred but not required.
• Experience with machining operations, thread tolerances, heat treatment, and machined fits and finishes.
• Experience with taking 3D solid models to 5 axis machining center is a plus.
