Duties:
Performs assembly and tests of mechanical/ hydraulic assemblies of low complexity
Assembles and tests assemblies according to specifications. Masters basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in the area of expertise
Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and NCRs Cleans components after assembly according to FMCTI specifications and verbal/written instructions
Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components and sub-assemblies from one work or storage area to another as required
Collects and inputs information in specific systems for cost tracking purposes
Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area
Assists more experienced Assembly Technicians as assigned
Job scope:
Works under direct supervision and selects from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Resolves routine questions and problems independently and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Specialized in a single technique (painting, or assembly or welding)
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
Up to 2 years of experience in field
Proficiency to read drawings and technical documentation in assembly
Knowledge/use of complex equipment and techniques (e.g. FAT, Gas testing, etc.)
