Opportunity Snapshot:

  • Compensation: $35-40/hour
  • Location: Carlsbad, NM
  • Assignment Duration: 12 months+
  • Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours

Responsibilities

  • Proper operation and maintenance of pipeline facilities in accordance with Company procedures/policies
  • Coordinating, supervising, and inspecting the maintenance or construction of pipeline project
  • Supervising pigging crews and manning pumping stations
  • Safely pressuring up and bleeding down of pig traps without possible leaks or spills

  • Assist with the monitoring of pig tracking equipment for pig travel and arrivals

  • Launching and receiving pigs in high and low-pressure pipelines

  • Maintaining pig trap equipment and perform maintenance as needed

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • 6+ years pipeline operations and/or maintenance experience
  • Seeking an experienced lead who will need minimal training and can hit the ground running
  • Commissioning experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and other teams
  • Familiar with dehys, pigs and pigging, compressors, how to gauge tanks, understanding pressure, understand a budget and how to stay within budget and be cost effective
  • Safety is a must!
