Opportunity Snapshot:

  • Compensation: $30-32.00/hour
  • Location: Pecos, TX
  • Assignment Duration: 6 months+
  • Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+
  • Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operational tasks performed in a warehouse or yard environment: issuing, receiving, and counting inventory items, locating/placing items in the appropriate bin/rack locations, and manages material control and security

  • Perform operational tasks at the warehouse/yard facilities associated with MRO inventory operations, critical spares, tubulars, and other oilfield materials

  • Under general supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products, and inventory accuracy

  • Perform cycle counts on monthly basis to ensure accurate inventory records and reconciles differences

  • Work in conjunction and communicates with logistics providers to arrange collection and shipments of orders

  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of shipping documentation

    Communicates regularly and proactively with internal stakeholders regarding status of shipments

  • Directly responsible for warehouse management EHS programs, promotes safe working environment, and ensures reporting procedures for incidents are followed

  • Required to be present at assigned yard or other facilities in the operational area during working hours to support the business and provide oversight of material management activities

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree preferred; High school diploma required
  • 3-4 years of related inventory and material control experience
  • Experience working within a materials control/warehouse environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen

  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently within set deadlines

  • Intermediate computer skills are required and SAP knowledge is preferred

  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are required

  • Forklift and equipment operation skills preferred

  • Team player and effective communicator

  • Ability to speak and write English is required
