Opportunity Snapshot:

• Compensation: $45-55.00/hour depending on experience
• Location: Plains, Texas
  
• Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours
• Assignment Duration: 12 months +

• Install, configure, and maintain radio and cell communication systems
• Ensure reliable and secure communication channels for field operations.  Conduct regular tests and inspections to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor communication systems to detect and resolve issues promptly
• Coordinate with service providers for system updates and repairs
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to support midstream operations
• Monitor network performance and optimize configurations for efficiency.  Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues
• Implement network security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with enterprise IT infrastructure
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.  Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for IT operations.  Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures
• Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects and initiatives
• Train field personnel on the proper use of communication systems and IT tools
• Develop and update user manuals and training materials
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in the industry

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.  Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT and communications within the oil and gas industry or a related field.  Hands-on experience with radio and cell communication systems, network design and maintenance, and IT support
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting radio and cell communication systems
• Strong knowledge of network architecture and IT infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to train and support end-users
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Our Client with base operations in San Antonio is an independent corporation focused on partnering with Oil & Gas producers to develop thoughtful midstream services and help them manage their carbon intensity.  Their current capabilities include permanent carbon sequestration, in-field natural gas gathering, compression, treating and processing services; innovative NGL solutions; and crude oil gathering, transportation and storage.
