We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a contract-to-direct assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

** This position can work a Hybrid schedule in the Cincinnati area **

- Engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems 

- Evaluate the desired goal of the system and develop, design or select the required equipment or power/controls 

- Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications

- Direct activities to ensure that construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards and customer requirements

- Maintain effective communication with project team members and with the customer

- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks

- Prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction

- Act as Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer in project meetings

- Participate in project proposals and will suggest solutions to our clients 

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

- 10+ years experience in Electrical Engineering Design of facilities / buildings

- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software

- Ability to lead a team of 5 - 10 employees

- Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination and arc flash
