Opportunity Snapshot:

 

  • Compensation: $45-50/hour
  • Location: Andrews, TX
  • Assignment Duration: 12 months+
  • Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours, working up to 50 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Follow all environmental and safety standards
  • Design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automation and electrical infrastructure
  • Problem solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Interpersonal skills: Maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new suggestions
  • Oral communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in a variety of settings, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetings
  • Written Communication: Edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and can read and interpret written information
  • Planning/organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans
  • Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Dependability: Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs 

Qualifications

  • Journeymen electrician or technical training
  • Industrial I&E experience preferred
  • Knowledge of PLC logic along with associated software
  • Allen Bradley and Telepace.  Knowledge of HMI and associated software
  • Basic Computer skills including Microsoft office
  • Factory Talk View Studio
  • Understanding of SCADA systems and applications
  • Flow meter repairs and calibrations.  Positive displacement, differential pressure and turbine meters.  Rosemount pressure, temperature and level transmitters
  • Ability to lead and perform preventive and corrective field service on instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment
  • Pneumatic valves, solenoids, electric actuators and indicators
  • Gas monitoring equipment, MSA.  Variable frequency drives and soft starts
  • Trouble shoot and resolve electrical issues
  • Power and control in Motor Control Centers (MCC)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
