We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment in Torrance, California. The selected candidate's primary function is to preserve and enhance the appearance of the facility through routine maintenance.

Hours are Monday - Friday,  8:00am - 5:00pm

** This position has a pay rate of $22/hr **

** This position has an on-call schedule **

** This is a temporary to possibly permanent position to back-fill an employee who is recovering after surgery **

- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage

- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

- Window, door or wall repair

- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures, toilets and urinals

- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs

- Applying a sealant on a flat roof

- Painting, drywall replacement and patching

- Concrete and asphalt patching

- Hanging pictures, tv's and posters when needed; Light bulb replacement

- Event set up; tents, chairs and tables

- A valid Drivers License

- 3+ years experience in Facility Maintenance

- Proficient in electric systems, painting, carpentry and plumbing
