- A minimum of 10 years work history as an Electrician or Instrument Technician. Preferably a minimum of 5 years construction supervision with an I&E construction company
- Aptitude to review and field verify I&E drawings a must. Experience as an I&E Designer a plus
- Working knowledge of the various PHSMA, OSHA and industry standards as it relates to control engineering
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Bluebeam Revu, Citrix, Syncplicity, DWG Viewer, and Zoom
- Demonstrated expert knowledge in Industry Standards such as NFPA 70 – National Electrical Code, NEC Article 250 – Grounding and Bonding, NEC Article 392 – Cable Trays, API RP 500 - Recommended Practice for Classification of Locations for Electrical Installations at Petroleum Facilities Classified as Class 1, Division 1 and Division 2, API RP 540 – Electrical Installations in Petroleum Processing Plants, NFPA 496 – Standard for Purged and Pressurized Enclosures for Electrical Equipment, NFPA 497 - Recommended Practice for the Classification of Flammable Liquids, Gases, or Vapors, and of Hazardous (Classified) Locations for Electrical Installations in Chemical Process Areas, and NFPA 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
- Ability to quickly learn Client Standards and Specifications relating to I&E design and work
- Must possess strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and have the ability to quickly learn new applications
- Must be a self-starter and able to work both independently and with others in the organization.
- Must have the ability to perform light work, able to lift minimum of 20 pounds occasionally and be able to reach overhead, stoop, bend and twist while working
