We are seeking a Pump Mechanic for assignment in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The selected candidate will perform scheduled maintenance on lift station equipment, piping and structures.

Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

- Assist in repair and/or replacement of water and wastewater plant motors, pumps, and associated equipment

- Assist electrician in repair and/or replacement of electrical motors, panels, and components

- Correctly diagnose equipment failure problems and be able to instigate proper repair procedures

- Work within confined spaces such as sewage/water equipment tanks

- Troubleshooting failures at water and wastewater plant sites on pumps, motors, process equipment and electrical components

- Generating associated reports using laptop or desktop computers

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- 3+ years experience with hydraulics, motors, valves and/or pumps
