Responsibilities

  • Looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our yard team in Brighton, CO
  • 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery
  • Strong communication skills.  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships.  Ability to work with a team in both an office and field environment
  • SAP knowledge, not required but a plus
  • Follow and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Complete and maintain forklift certification
  • Manages the communication and tracking of all pad load outs
  • Assistance with all physical inventory counts
  • Understand and apply all company environmental, health and safety policies and principles
  • Organize and maintain warehouse(s) and inventory yard(s) areas for efficient material storage and handling, including labeling, stocking, and organizing stock/material on shelving and pallet systems
  • Receive inbound freight and expedited shipments and MRO/Commodity deliveries, ensure documents are complete and accurate, distribute documents and notify recipients per established procedures
  • Manages the timely activities and schedule of the yard team and provides the necessary resources to accomplish tasks set by operations and supply chain management
  • Manages day-to-day planning of the yard, communicating with inspectors, construction foreman, contractors and fabricators on all their equipment needs ensuring that all work is done safely and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Inspects materials for quality/defects  
  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near work site
  • Able to identify material by part number or written description
  • Manually moves materials onto or from pallets and shelves
  • Must be comfortable operating forklifts and telehandlers of various sizes and able to pass a certification test
  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
  • Cleans work area, machines, and equipment
  • Assembles crates to contain products when required
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
  • Adheres to all safety rules and regulations
  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
