We are seeking a Piping Project Lead for assignment in Cary, North Carolina. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a small group of Piping Designers and Piping Engineers on an assigned project.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

** This position can work a Hybrid schedule, with 2 days a week in-office **

** This position requires experience with either Revit or Plant 3D **

- Establish piping scope based on client requirements

- Estimating engineering and design effort and hours

- Developing the project discipline schedule and staffing plans, technical quality and approval of all piping deliverables

- Perform scope change management

- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards and procedures

- Mentoring other professionals

- High School Diploma or GED

- 15+ years in Piping Design or Piping Engineering

- 3+ years executing a Project Piping Lead role

- Working knowledge of Revit or Plant 3D

- Familiarity with Piping Plans, Sections and Isometric deliverables

- An understanding of workflow and project sequence of effective Equipment Arrangement, Pipe Stress, Pipe Design, Pipe Supports and Piping specifications (does not need to be able to perform all functions but must know the workflow and project sequence of all)

- Functional knowledge of ASME B31.3 guidelines and requirements
