We are seeking an Environmental Scientist for assignment in Syracuse, New York. The selected candidate will primarily conduct environmental inspections and collect, manage and maintain field data.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** This position has a pay rate of $26 - $28/hr **

- Conduct environmental inspections

- Collect, manage and maintain field data

- Collect samples (water, soil, waste; including sample planning, conducting collection activities, use of proper methods, COC completion, and recordkeeping)

- Prepare technical reports

- Maintain schedules for conducting sampling activities to maintain permit compliance

- Enter and manipulate data in MS Excel

- Using tablets and other technologies to complete and submit e-forms to document and track field activities

- Balance collaboration with teammates while also working independently on multiple projects 

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel

- A 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (including annual 8-hour refresher training) is highly preferred
