We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Operator-in-Training for assignment in Roseburg, Oregon. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant including maintenance of equipment and quality control testing.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

** This position has a pay rate of $22/hr **

- General maintenance checks on pumps, screens, valves, blowers, geardrives

- Quality control testing

- Control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge and effluent

- Observe variations in operating conditions

- Interpret meter and gauge readings

- Collect samples

- Maintain shift logs

- Perform other duties as required

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Familiarity with hand and power tools
