Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Process Engineer for a contract-to-direct assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.

 

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

** This position has a pay rate of $42 - $57.50/hr **

** This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Boise **

Responsibilities

- Work on the client’s behalf to review designs, specs and drawings; providing feedback and comments

- Establish design requirements and review construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure high purity water systems

- Design review and oversight for piping and interface for ultrapure water (UPW) equipment in filtering, heating, cooling, exhaust of UPW equipment and associated process chemicals and gasses

- Retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory

- Work directly with other A&E firms and/or design staff, client equipment owners, researchers and equipment manufacturers of next generation and prototype tools to build utility requirement documents to allow the development of installation design packages

- Provide technical training, quality check designs and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering

- 7+ years experience in ultrapure water facilities / equipment engineering; including: clarification, filtration, polish, UV, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, storage, distribution and delivery

- 5+ years of design project delivery experience

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD

- Ability to conduct site visits and field walks
