We are seeking a Mechanic for assignment in Spokane, Washington. The selected candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water/wastewater treatment plants, and related facilities equipment, on an assigned shift.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance

- Lubricate equipment and check for malfunctions

- Replace packing in pumps or valves

- Replace bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment

- Clean and adjust regulators

- Examine equipment failures to identify cause and to prevent recurrences

- Install and set up new equipment

- Perform duties of painter in their absence; Clean and paint interior and exterior equipment and buildings

- Lean out pipes and perform other plumbing and pipe fitting tasks as required

- Assist in keeping maintenance records

- Perform other duties as required

- A valid Drivers License

- Experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment; including pumps, engines and electric motors is highly preferred
