Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. 

 

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

 

** This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Indianapolis **

** This position requires a Professional Engineer License (PE) or the ability to obtain one **

Responsibilities

- Engineering and design oversight for medium and low voltage power distribution, UPS/Generators, Lighting, Grounding, Fire Alarm, Security, Public Address (PA), Telecomm and Heat Trace systems

- Evaluate the desired goal of the system and develop, design or select the required equipment or power/controls to achieve the goal

- Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications

- Direct activities to ensure that construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards and customer requirements

- Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer

- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

- A Professional Engineer License (PE) or the ability to obtain one

- 10+ years experience in engineering design of building electrical systems

- Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination and arc flash (ETAP, SKM or EasyPower)

- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is highly preferred
