- Degree or the equivalent field experience, in Occupational Safety and Health related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Technician or similar role
- Current TWIC is also required
- Experience in lifting and rigging, crane operations, confined space, working at height, LEL environments. Work permitting experience (elevated work, crane lifts, confined space, excavation, LOTO, etc.)
- OSHA 30 & OSHA 510 certification or better safety and health training
- Conduct data analysis and reporting of statistics with experience in producing reports
- Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Microsoft Forms and Power BI)
- Organizational and time management skills
- Self-driven and proactive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to speak comfortably to large group
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
- Requires the ability to walk extensively, climb stairs, and ladders throughout diverse work environments
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work at Client facilities, including FRC, hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other protective equipment as required
- Client promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment using mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as allowed by applicable state laws
- Reliable transportation is also required and expected for commuting between pipeline locations
