Opportunity Snapshot:

  • Compensation: $30-40/hour DOE
  • Location: Whitsett, TX
  • Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+
  • Assignment Duration: 12 months+
  • Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), Holidays and PTO
  • Must live within 60 miles of the site

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and configuration of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), remote terminal unit (RTU), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)
  • Maintains good working relationships with Client production, midstream, and water groups
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on control systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
  • Assist in the testing and commissioning of new control systems
  • Read and interpret technical documentation such as electrical and pneumatic schematics, loop drawings, and control narratives
  • Collaborate with other automation team members and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Participate in safety meetings, safety audits, and safety programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Document and maintain records of control system configuration changes, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends in automation systems

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with industrial control systems, such as PLCs, RTU, and HMIs
  • Must have experience with ROC, Total Flow, and Pneumatics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
  • Good driving record required
  • Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience
  • High School diploma or GED required
