We are seeking a Wastewater Operator-in-Training for assignment in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The selected candidate will learn and gain skills involved in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

** This position requires a valid Florida Operator-in-Training Certification **

** Candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and shift work as assigned **

- Maintenance and operation of equipment treating wastewater; processing, treating and disposal

- Operates SCADA, lab equipment, field equipment and exercise valves

- Perform calibrations etc.

- Clean plant, perform daily walkthrough's

- Collect samples; perform laboratory work analysis and documentation

- Ability to work midnight shift work, weekends and holidays

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- A valid Florida Operator-in-Training Certification; A Florida Class C Wastewater License is highly preferred

- 1+ years experience in operating a wastewater treatment facility
