We are seeking an Electrician for a temporary assignment in Cantil, California. The selected candidate will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures and systems in our commercial building.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** This position has a pay rate of $40 - $42/hr **

** This is a Temporary position backfilling for an employee out on disability **

** This position requires completion of a formal apprenticeship and a valid Electricians License **

- Install and repairs electrical wiring, systems and fixtures

- Install conduit and pipes to house electrical wires and cables

- Ensure piping complies with electrical codes

- Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring

- Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building

- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation

- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed

- Replace conduit and wiring as needed

- Replace circuit breakers as needed

- Respond to and complete tenant or supervisor maintenance requests

- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and building systems

- Comple safety checks on systems and equipment

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and a valid Electricians License

- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring

- Ability to read blueprints

- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
