We are seeking an Electrician for assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The selected candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems in central utility and water/wastewater treatment plants.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on a wide range of industrial equipment

- Install, maintain and remove electrical conductors, raceways and equipment such as motors, transformers, switchboards, HVAC units and lighting systems

- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints and schematics

- Follow detailed switching procedures and coordinate power outages involving medium voltage switchgear and 15KV circuit breakers

- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, ATS and instrumentation wiring

- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts and platform lifts

- Maintain accurate service reports, deficiency logs and work orders

- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA standards and Lock Out–Tag Out procedures

- Provide excellent customer service to internal clients and collaborate effectively with team members

- Perform other duties as assigned 

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- 5+ years electrical experience in an industrial setting

- An understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures, OSHA and NEC
