We are seeking a Construction Manager for assignment in Dunseith, North Dakota. The selected candidate will develop and maintain complex, longterm, multi-year project management activities for a GSA LPOE.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

- Prepare written reports and correspondence

- Understand the fundamentals of current construction contract law and possess the ability to interpret construction contract drawings, specifications and FAR / GSAR clauses

- Construction management procedures, including the ability to understand different project scheduling software 

- Authoring and creating written reports and other documentation

- Execute construction project CPM schedules and the related details of their use in managing and monitoring large building construction projects

- Conduct inspections on construction projects and briefing briefing clients, management and government personnel

- Monitor the proper installation methods of construction materials

- Inspection of construction materials, workmanship and installation of systems

- Construction scheduling, budgeting, materials and methods and industry design standards

- Responsive to all communication from the client project team

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management

- 10+ years of Construction Management experience

- Experience managing major modernization or new construction projects of federal or commercial buildings; Projects must be greater than $50 million

- Strong working knowledge of building systems, components and technology

- Strong working knowledge of contract management and project delivery methods

- Working knowledge of Kahua, Microsoft Project, Prolog Manager or Primavera P6
