We are seeking a Lead Cadworx Piping Designer for a hybrid assignment. The selected candidate will provide direction and coordinate the work of sub-leads and piping designers to ensure project execution with high design quality.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Candidates can work a Hybrid Schedule in one of the following locations:
- Provide direction and coordinate the work of sub-leads and piping designers to ensure project execution with high design quality
- Manage delivery schedule, including escalation, to project managers when schedule is at jeopardy
- Support piping design team and facilitate resolution of design challenges
- Develop resource loaders to predict budget burn rate and overall estimate to complete work
- Coordinate design with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) to ensure success of project
- Position may also require field support activities on client site, including site walks
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10+ years experience in the layout of process and mechanical equipment
- 5+ years experience leading a piping team
- Proficient with Cadworx and Navisworks
- Experience developing resource loaders
