We are seeking a Lab Analyst for assignment in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will perform chemical, biochemical and bacteriological tests of water and wastewater related systems.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** This position will require participation in the on-call and weekend rotation schedule **

- Conduct a variety of tests of plant influent, effluent and receiving bodies

- Examine raw sludge samples

- Test pH, alkalinity, volatile solids, total solids, dissolved oxygen, coliform bacteria and residual chlorine

- Maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program based on the established guidelines

- Perform computations, maintain and prepare records and reports

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and materials

- Participation in the on-call and weekend rotation

- Perform other duties as required

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Completion of at least 12 semester units in chemistry or bacteriology

- 1 year of laboratory testing and analysis experience
