We are seeking a Telecom Systems Engineer for assignment in Tempe, Arizona. The selected candidate will lead portions of very large and complex projects as a telecom scope owner, working in conjunction with other telecom design and support staff, while collectively producing challenging design packages.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

- Help lead the design of everything from Outside Plant (OSP) to inter / intra-building backbone distribution systems, communication room layouts, rack elevations, wired and wireless device plans, and cable schedules

- Leverage AutoCAD and Revit MEP design software to create fully coordinated 3D models across all disciplines

- Complete all facets of design and calculations in accordance with the NEC, applicable TIA and other industry standards

- Interface directly with our client counterparts to design facilities to meet their needs

- 2 or 4 year Technical Degree

- 3+ years experience in telecommunications design and construction

- Knowledge of Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) standards

- Knowledge of BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International) design practices

- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements

- Experience leading a telecommunications design team

- Knowledge of design and construction specifications

- Experience estimating and scheduling small to medium size projects
