Opportunity Snapshot:

• Compensation: $35/hour
• Location: Carlsbad, NM
• Assignment Duration: 12 months+
• Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ 
• Benefits: Comprehensive with 401K, holidays and PTO

• Air Permitting & Compliance: Understanding of air permit conditions, regulatory applicability, compliance tracking, and documentation
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal air quality regulations, including routine compliance obligations
• Support Audio, Visual, and Olfactory (AVO) observations and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) reporting activities (data entry, tracking, quality checks—not fieldwork)
• Office & Administrative Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and other office software; ability to manage data, prepare reports, and maintain organized documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, support audits or reviews, and help coordinate air‑related initiatives

• 3+ years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience
• 3+ years of relevant environmental permitting and/or compliance experience
• Environmental permitting, program implementation, risk identification, and project management skills
• Strong foundation in air permitting and compliance, including working knowledge of both New Mexico state and federal air regulations
• Excellent oral and written communications, teamwork, planning & organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and various Environmental databases
• Project management skills with minimal oversight required
• Must be solution oriented
• Availability to travel to stakeholder meetings and act as company representative
• High School diploma or GED required
