We are seeking a Lead Lift Station Mechanic for assignment in West Melbourne, Florida. The selected candidate will lead a team of 6 mechanics and direct them each day with there work assignments as per contract needs.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

** This position requires a Back Flow Certification **

** This position has an on-call schedule for emergencies **

** This position requires a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) w/ Tanker and Air Brake Endorsements **

- Install, repair and maintain pumps, motors, generators, electrical motors, gauges, contacts, valves and components for telemetry systems

- Perform sewer utility locates and inspections as requested 

- Study work reports and evaluate equipment and system efficiency

- Interpret force main maps and control panel diagrams to assess operations and identify improvements

- Make recommendations for improvements to the supervisor

- Be available on call for after-hours repairs and respond to emergencies as required

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) w/ Tanker and Air Brake Endorsements

- A valid Back Flow Certification

- 5+ years experience in mechanical repairs, operations and maintenance of wastewater and lift station pumping facilities

- Ability to interpret electrical, SCADA schematics and utility as-builts
