The Bergaila Company, a recognized leader in Engineering/Design, Project Services and Field Construction contract staffing, is currently seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to become a part of our growing Sales Team.

Bergaila is a fast-growing company with excellent opportunities for growth for top performers.  A successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience or a high school diploma, plus ten years of sales experience. The candidate must possess a proven ability to prospect, develop business, build relationships, communicate in oral and written communication, and actively network. In addition, they must demonstrate a strong customer focus, personal leadership, and solid negotiation and presentation skills. Individuals experienced in sales and account management who are persistent and have a strong drive to win over new clients and build new business are the ideal fit for this position.

Responsibilities

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Business Development Manager is responsible for maintaining and building upon existing company revenue within the Oil and Gas Industry. The primary focus of this position is to bring business from new clients.
  • Exceeds sales revenue quotas by winning new contracts and job orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships.
  • Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities by providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships.  Negotiates contractual terms and conditions for staffing services, and works with the operations and recruiting teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Define and develop sales plans, lead generation strategies and penetration plans for new accounts and to expand service with existing accounts.
  • Present company service offerings to prospective clients, client consultation and development of proposals. 
  • Maintains an ongoing relationship with prospective clients, both in-person and by phone, continuously assessing and communicating how Bergaila can meet their needs.
  • Develops and executes sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Creates proposals for providing staffing services, customized to prospective clients’ needs.
  • Coordinate with the Recruiting & Operations Team to onboard new clients, including: development of client specific Service Plans, facilitate introductions between new clients and assigned Customer Service Representatives, and work with Recruiting & Operations Team to set up customized services according to clients’ specifications.
  • Represents Bergaila at Professional Trade Organization conferences or related meetings, and actively networks through attendance at business or professional social functions.
  • Maintains accurate, complete and up-to-date information regarding sales within the Bergaila CRM application.

Qualifications

 Required Skills & Experience

  • The Business Development Manager will be required to initiate and organize meetings and phone calls with prospects, prepare professional emails, participate in preparation of sales collateral and will require advanced communication and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to analyze industry trends and penetrate key client organizations.
  • A high level of comfort with performing cold calls and delivering professional, formal presentations.
  • The ability to identify prospective customers’ needs, propose solutions and convert prospects to clients.
  • Action and results oriented attitude.  Capable of developing a strong business case for client action and skills to close the sale. 
  • 10 years of successful sales experience and a proven track record for closing new accounts.
  • Previous experience in selling staffing solutions with the Oil & Gas Industry is preferred.
  • Experience using MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications.
  • Position will require occasional travel within the United States.
