Overview

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a direct position with a leading midstream services firm in Arkoma, OK. Our client owns, operates, acquires and develops midstream energy assets.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the following:

 

- Performing routine start-ups and shutdowns of individual equipment and processes
- Monitoring usage of utilities, fuel, chemicals, lube oils, etc... to prevent excessive consumption at current processing and production rates
- Monitoring and recognizing dangerous and/or emergency conditions within the processes and performing procedures necessary to remove those conditions or shutting down the affected processes/facilities in order to protect personnel and equipment
- Recognizing malfunctions in individual equipment and performing maintenance as necessary to correct any problems
- Monitoring levels of lubricants, fluids, chemicals, etc... and refilling them as necessary to prevent damage to equipment
- Writing work orders using MAXIMO for routine and major maintenance
- Performing other work related duties as assigned
- Performing operations of field amine & glycol treaters

 

The Maintenance Technician will also be performing PMs, diagnoses, trouble-shoots, repairs, and will be maintaining overall proper function of the following types of equipment:

 

- High speed reciprocating compressors
- Low speed compressors, air compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, and other plant equipment

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment and processes listed under job duties

- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
- Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision
- Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditions
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.
