Overview

We are currently seeking a Supervisor Pipeline for a direct position with a leading midstream services firm in Cleburne, Tx. Our client owns, operates, acquires and develops midstream energy assets.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for Supervising the day to day activates of the Pipeline Maintenance Field Support Personnel.

 

These activities may include but not limited to:

 

- Performing the field pipeline line-ups as directed by the Pipeline Controller Group 

- Directing field personnel in one-call and line locating activities

- Directing field personnel in problem trouble-shooting pipeline control , communication,  or other day today pipeline issues.

- Supervisor will be responsible for insuring a safe work environment for all area employees and contractors

- Supervisor will manage the daily work product and insure that all employees adhere to Corporate, State, Federal policies and regulations, including, Safety, OSHA, PHMSA

- Supervisor will assist Area Manager in preparation and control of West Louisiana budgets

- Supervisor will become a major participant and supporter of the clients Pipeline programs, such as Pipeline Operations Manual, Integrity Management Plan, and CRM

- Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling and directing all Integrity Management efforts

- The Supervisor must demonstrate the ability to recognize, analyze, and respond to abnormal conditions in a timely manner to minimize potential impact to people and the environment as well as eliminating risk to the liability of the company

- The majority of these NGL lines are PHMSA Jurisdictional pipelines

- This position requires responding to all emergencies

 

Additional responsibilities include: 

 

- Familiar with 49CFR , Part 192 & Part 195, NACA, API, TARGA Construction Specifications 
- Familiar with Cathodic Protection Systems
- Recognize pipeline and pipeline equipment malfunctions
- Recognize danger signals from equipment and perform emergency procedures, which could include the shutdown of facilities and/or pipelines
- Prepares and analyzes recurring operational reports
- Prepares various ad-hoc reports including providing data for regulatory reporting
- Continuously review and monitor pipeline operations for optimization 
- Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local policies and procedures
- Interface with support personnel, maintenance, measurement, instrumentation/electrical, etc, to resolve operational upset issues
- Training of direct reports in safe and proper job procedures
- Attend all safety meeting and safety training as required by company

Qualifications

- 5 year(s) experience operating NG and  NGL Pipelines 
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company 

- Prior Pipeline Supervisor  Experience
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations CFR 49, Part 192 & Part 195
- Knowledge of Pipeline Hydraulics & NG & NGL Products
- Knowledge of Pipeline Control Systems
- Knowledge of Pipeline Leak Detection Systems
- Knowledge of Communication Systems
- Knowledge of and understands PIDs
- Knowledge and understands Pipeline Maps and Alignment sheets

- Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least a minimum of 50lbs
