  • Overview

    We are seeking an I&C Technician for assignment in Vancouver, Washington. The selected candidate will provide a range of custom-tailored operations and maintenance solutions at our client's wastewater treatment plant.


    Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm


    - Work with a SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system to monitor, troubleshoot and repair control issues

    - System is primarily Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC based systems

    - Maintain and calibrate process control valves, actuators, positioners, as well as many process instruments and transmitters

    - Reads, interprets and works from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications and technical illustrations as well as verbal instructions

    - Performs skilled repair work on wastewater treatment plant equipment and instruments

    - Inspects, repairs and maintains electrical and/or electro-mechanical operating and control systems, equipment and fixtures

    - Inspects, maintains and repairs wiring and lighting systems, electrical control equipment, meters, outlets, and panels

    - Installs new equipment, interprets oral and written instructions, specifications, wiring diagrams and codes

    - Establishes and maintains scheduled electrical maintenance program for the plant's equipment

    - Repair electrical and electronic instruments

    - Exercises independent judgment in solving normal work problems under general supervision of Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Project Manager using standard and special electrical tools and equipment

    - Keeps electrical maintenance records, prepares labor and material estimates

    - Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work applied to specific Assets

    - Understands the mathematics of electricity and machines

    - Performs other duties as required


    - High School Diploma or GED

    - A valid Drivers License

    - 3 to 5 years experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment

    - 3 to 5 years experience repairing process control valves and associated hardware
