  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a Scheduler Planner for a direct position with a leading midstream services firm in Chico, TX. Our client owns, operates, acquires and develops midstream energy assets.


    The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the planning and scheduling aspect of all work.  Develops job plans and routinely meets with different work groups to resolve scheduling conflicts.  Responsible for maintaining the Maximo maintenance management system.  


    Responsibilities also include: 


    - Maintaining Maximo; 

    • Set up equipment; PM’s;  in Maximo;
    • Run reports
    • Print, distribute weekly planned weekly work orders
    • Set up ESH PM’s;
    • Monitor Open Work Orders - 
    • Run Business Objects reports as needed
    • Enter all downtime/maintenance activities in Maximo
    • Enter all ESH work orders
    • Close work orders

    - Maintaining PM Schedule

    - Daily maintenance schedule; Weekly Maintenance Schedule

    • Daily Area Field Schedule
    • Schedule PM’s with Supervisors
    • Work with warehouse to pull PM parts
    • Work with warehouse in all areas needing parts
    • Coordinate PM’s with other maintenance to ensure minimal downtime

    - Maintaining Equipment Files

    - Mechanical Integrity - add/update when needed

    - Maintaining Shutdown Checks

    - Working with Supervisors with MIP meetings

    - Schedule/Coordinate:  Training, Annual Hoist Inspections; In-House Training; variety of things

    - Planner Scheduler works closely with Maintenance Supervisor, Field Supervisor

    - Reviewing work orders for each significant piece of information

    - Assigning work orders needing planning and material to planning backlog

    - Assure work order has approval and authority

    - Preparing weekly schedule and facilitating weekly scheduling meeting

    - Preparing daily schedule for maintenance supervisor (without assigning personnel to job-supervisors responsibility)

    - Receiving and processing daily schedule and late work report from previous day

    - Entering work orders into Maximo to accept charges and close when complete

    - Facilitating maintenance activity with production

    - Maintaining integrity of PM program, i.e., checklists, trigger, frequency, compliance, and schedules using Maximo.

    - Establishing and maintaining equipment parts catalog, equipment history, storeroom, min/max levels

    - Compiling weekly compliance reports

    - Coordinating with central shops/project schedules

    - Approve stores and purchase requisitions for planned jobs

    - Review actual vs. plan on completed work orders

    - Coordinating special programs, i.e. ladder inspections, equipment surveys

    - Identifying recurring maintenance problems

    - Maintaining maintenance key performance indicators for department

    - Regular and reliable attendance is required


    - 3+ years of work related experience; 5 years of gas processing or related experience including use of Maximo preferred

    - Minimum Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or training

    - Maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company

    - Must have a mechanical aptitude

    - Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors

    - An organized and detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic

    - Ability to work self-sufficiently given direction and resources

    - Well-grounded, preferring to work in a collegial and team environment

    - Ability to think critically, solve problems independently and exercise excellent judgment and common sense
