  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a Scaffold Project Coordinator with on- site industrial construction and/or plant experience for a long- term contract opportunity with a growing project services and solutions organization in multiple locations.


    The Scaffold Project Coordinator is responsible for:


    - Promoting and adhering to our client’s safe work practices and policies.

    - Develops and oversees labor forecasting and the on-schedule delivery of scaffolding materials and components for the project.

    - Independently reviews, assesses and maintains the labor hours needed to ensure completion of the scope of work; independently reviews, assesses and maintains the materials needed to ensure completion of the scope of work.

    - Liaises with the site scaffolding management team on reporting, daily progress, inspections and delays.

    - Prepare and review internal and external reporting pertaining to the job status.

    - Proactively identifies and works to resolve any site issues that may impede progress to ensure a constraint free work front.

    - Proactively participates in project coordination/scheduling activities and meetings ensuring project milestones and schedules are met.

    - Ability to identify project scaffold needs utilizing field-based knowledge, 3D model and project schedules.

    - Participates and coordinates scaffolding installation work package (IWP) development.

    - Delivering value to our clients through the use of our proprietary Scaffold Management System to manage scaffold requests, work orders, reporting, material utilization and traceability.  

    - Provides technical knowledge and input to assist client scaffolding installation teams and/or installation contractors.

    - Monitors and ensures compliance with internal and client execution plans and management system procedures and policies.

    - Actively involved in all ad-hoc reporting and KPI development discussions.


    - 5 – 7+ years of hands-on experience in scaffolding management, with proven experience in scaffold erection, modification and dismantling in an industrial construction and/or plant environment.

    - Must work well within a team.

    - Flexible and adaptable, reacts quickly in a fast pace and dynamic environment.

    - Strong sense of urgency and initiative to get things done.

    - Must have the ability and willingness to multi-task and stay focused.

    - Excellent organizational and customer service skills.

    - Strong administrative experience and skills

    - Working knowledge of PC’s, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word etc.

    - Working knowledge and experience with a Scaffold Management Software a plus.

    - Experience in Scaffold Project Management a plus.

    - Must have the ability to plan and see the “big picture.”

    - Competent in conflict and crisis management.

    - Excellent time management skills.

    - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    - Display experience with Construction Modeling tools (i.e. Navisworks, AutoCAD) and have an ability to be able to identify and plan scaffolding requirements within this environment.

    - Have experience with utilizing project scheduling tools such as Primavera 6 (P6) or Microsoft Projects.

    - Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance within a scaffolding, project environment
