  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a Terminal Supervisor for a direct position with a leading midstream services firm in Watford City, ND. Our client owns, operates, acquires and develops midstream energy assets.


    The Terminal Supervisor responsibilities include: 


    - Optimize asset utilization of tractors and trailers by effectively managing all maintenance

    - Implement the clients safety management program for all drivers insuring that all drivers and equipment are in compliance - - coordinating with Corporate ESH group and with Dispatch center

    - Maintaining all equipment files in accordance to DOT standards; comply with all regulations and attend audits

    - Aid dispatch with problem solving; insure that all commercial business is completed

    - Work with operations management and personnel to make sure we are effectively managing demand

    - Provide emergency response and incident management for all incidents involving crude oil drivers,  on a rotational basis with North Dakota transport manager

    - Provide leadership and guidance to drivers

    - Operate all crude oil terminals – provide routine maintenance, troubleshoot and insure that operations are compliant to applicable regulations and client policies

    - Schedule and optimize maintenance with vendors, drivers and dispatchers

    - Order parts and manage/maintain shop inventory of tires, lubricants and spare parts with regard to budget management and pro-active management

    - Provide backup for North Dakota terminal operators; cover vacations and trade weekend on-call status to manage incidents– this job requires 24/7, 365 day of the year coverage.


    - High School Diploma or equivalent or 4-year degree from an accredited University

    - Minimum of 5 years of Transport operational experience in crude/oil and gas industry

    - Proficient with Microsoft applications including word, power point and excel

    - Able to work independently and be self-directed

    - Willing to work after hours including evening, weekends and holidays

    - Able to multi-task and juggle competing priorities in a fast paced sometimes intense work environment

    - High degree of communication skills and comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization

    - Regular and reliable attendance


    Preferred Qualifications:


    - Prior supervisory experience

    - Previous experience with hazardous material logistics management

    - Prior experience with crude oil terminals

    - Prior experience in control room management
