  • Overview

    We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert Reliability Engineer for assignment in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The selected candidate will provide Reliability Centered Maintenance and Total Preventive Maintenance, within a process or equipment, at our clients facility.

     

    Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

    Responsibilities

    - Identifying and reporting on potential failures modes within a process or with equipment(s)

    - Support the designing of new processes & systems

    - Applying subject matter engineering knowledge to solve problems

    - Working with client teams to perform tests and analysis in the field

    - Conduct routine engineering calculations

    - Liaise with relevant teams on the outcomes of tests/analysis for verification

    - Develop solutions that help to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) 

    - Functional analysis and functional hazard analysis (function FMEA, & FHA)

    - Fault tree analysis

    - Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)

    - Avoidance of Single Point of Failure (SPOF)

    - Human error analysis

    - Operational hazard analysis

    - Preventative/ Planned Maintenance Optimization (PMO)

    Qualifications

    - Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

    - 25+ years of experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance and Total Preventive Maintenance; Experience could come from chemicals, hydrocarbons, pharmaceuticals, batch & discrete manufacturing and even defense

    - Large scale plant/industrial equipment and capital project implementation

    - Experience with reliability and condition monitoring programs; from strategy development to implementation

    - Experience with Multi-site maintenance, production, and quality driven programs

    - Experience with Risk based inspection and monitoring programs

    - Experience collaborating with suppliers to preemptively drive quality management programs

    - Experience with the integration of digital solutions to improve plant performance
