  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a Salesforce Administrator – Sales & Business Development for a contract opportunity with a leading industrial construction company specializing in project/construction scaffolding services and solutions, based out of Houston, TX.

    Responsibilities

    This individual will serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce within the company, supporting the North American region.  The administrator will work closely with functional leaders and the multi-region Sales team to develop and deploy new business processes for Sales & Business Development.  This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst.  The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform and formulate strategy using data, reporting and analytics to become more efficient.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    - Assist Department Leaders and Sales team representatives with data entry into the CRM tool as well as data maintenance

    - Lead regular Sales & Business Development meeting to discuss data analysis/metrics retrieved from reporting to streamline business development strategy

    - Participate in planning, organizing and management of all CRM projects to ensure effective operations

    - Help monitor CRM processes, resolving issues that arise in the execution and/or elevate as appropriate

    - Entering and updating Contacts and helping with List Management in coordination with Sales team representatives

    - Updating sales “scorecards” and implementing measures with the Sales Director to drive increased performance

    - Assist the Sales Director and VP of Business Development with management level reporting (dashboards) as well as advanced reporting for business & sales improvement

    - Integrating sales data with other sets of data available amongst our business to assist with operations, supply chain, etc.

    - Entering and updating Accounts

    - Logging Meeting Activity in a timely manner

    - Attaching key documents to each Opportunity (signed EL, final Proposal, pricing model)

    - Identify trends in Salesforce requests/issues and recommend solutions to proactively meet needs

    - Lead and/or Support creation of overarching growth/optimization strategies for Sales & Business Development’s use of Salesforce 

    Qualifications

    - 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator

    - 2+ years proven experience in analytics, business strategy and/or project management within a business

    - Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption

    - Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

    - Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality

    - Experience supporting a geographically dispersed team of Sales & Business Development professionals

    - Ability to prioritize and meet company-imposed deadlines

    - Strong working knowledge of MS Office (preference for PowerBI) as used for presenting data

    - Demonstrates extreme attention to detail and accuracy

    - The individual will have proven experience in managing key business processes and will be responsible for managing department dashboard and metrics

    - Strong Analytical Skills with an ability to understand and make recommendations on data being entered

    - The ability to process data and make recommendations off of information extracted from analysis

    - Flexibility and adaptable personality to handle shifting needs, evolving priorities and urgent situations that arise; Ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations

    - Interpersonal skills and the ability to work within all levels of the organization

    - Strong leadership skills with ability to function tactically with business areas, but is also comfortable with senior-level presentations
