  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a Service Supervisor I - Coiled Tubing for a contract opportunity in Bakersfield, CA. Our client offers oilfield services and products worldwide, making it one of the largest oil field service companies, with operations in over 70 countries.

    Responsibilities

    The Service Supervisor I - Coiled Tubing will be responsible for:

     

    - Promotes excellent Customer relations at the worksite.

    - Promotes improvements and best practices for the delivery of services for PSL.

    - Leads compliance for HMS and HSE standards, and guidelines for PSL personnel

    - Assists in implementation of new technology.

    - Provides behavior based performance coaching and mentoring including performance reviews (PPR) to achieve excellence in Service Quality and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

    - Supervises the delivery services in accordance with Customer's design and KPI's initiating change management when required.

    - Holds Pre & Post Job safety meetings defining risks to personnel and the environment.

    - Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators during the equipment rig up and rig down on location and the preparation of equipment for performing a job.

    - Adheres to Customer's and Company's safety practices and policies.

    - Working with support functions ensure that a high level of equipment operating efficiency and readiness for the PSL is achieved.

    - Utilizes real-time data under dynamic job conditions communicating results to appropriate personnel on location.

    - Supervises Coiled Tubing operations in accordance with job/project design parameters safely and consistently per job plan.

    - Utilizes competency processes to enhance employee skills development and job performance.

    - Coordinates with Equipment Team and insures pre-job and DAS inspections are properly completed (i.e., Coil Tubing equipment, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) and all essential third party items).

    - Responsible for insuring well control and performing well control calculations before and during job.

    - Responsible for all post job data (Coil tubing check list).

    - Mentor and trains Service Operators and Service Assistants.

    - Perform and complete preventative maintenance on all Coil Tubing/Associated equipment (Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA), etc.)

    - Operates Tension Lift Frame and Track Stack without supervision in areas where they are deployed.

    - Performs Data Acquisition System (DAS) pre-job inspection on all units.

    Qualifications

    - High School Diploma or GED

    - 4 years’ experience in operating and supervising coil tubing operations, PLS

    - Crane license is required.

    - CDL is required.
