We are currently seeking a Control Systems Engineers for a contract opportunity.
Positions are available in Houston, TX and additional states in the US.
The Control Systems Engineers will perform a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
- Design, specification, selection, and services relating to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, telecommunications, etc.
- Uses or creates documents and specifications that govern or deliver control philosophy and/or implementation
- Responsible for quality of the control system portion of the project
- Possess system and/or process expertise used in configuration and scope development activities including proposals and execution
- Performing, planning, budgeting, organizing, and or controlling system related activities typical of an automation project
- Regularly acts as the single point of contact for Control System project activities
- Present to and interface with client regarding project status
- Develop or input into project status reports for control system scope
- Determine schedule and sequence of activities for control system work
- Develop and maintain project documentation as required by customer specifications
- Be capable of supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Develop or input into estimates and project proposals
- Direct the work of other control system engineers & Designers
- Other duties as assigned
- BS in Engineering required (Chemical or Electrical preferred)
- Professional Engineer Registration in Control Systems preferred
- 10+ years of control system engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in industrial environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft software products
- Significant Experience with Honeywell Experion and Allen-Bradley PLCs (Configuration, graphics & Hardware) Required
- General Instrumentation and wireless experience a plus
- Must be willing to work in industrial manufacturing environment including daily activities inside plant
- Experience as a process engineer in manufacturing environment a plus
