We have an opening for a Reliability Manager to work in the Freeport, TX area.

 - Sets and leads the strategic direction and daily working of the Freeport maintenance department.

 - Ensures personnel and process safety programs and environmental programs are followed and supported by all personnel reporting to this position. 

 - Responsible for the maintenance and reliability work processes to ensure worked is planned, scheduled, and performed timely, safely, and efficiently.

 - Manages the sites PSM mechanical integrity program for fixed and rotating equipment.

 - Responsible for driving improvements and a continuous improvement culture in the department.

 - Directs department day to day activities, through subordinates, to conduct failure analysis on equipment

 - Responsible for managing the capital budget and managing capital projects through all stages.

 - Develops applicable policies, standards, best practices and procedures, as needed.

 - Search for alternate vendors for projects / maintenance jobs to continuously improve and achieve better savings and quality.

 - Generate and execute savings projects to achieve plant saving targets and reduce conversion costs.

 - Handles performance management goals, succession planning, career development, and routine performance reviews for personnel.

 - Responsible for managing and meeting the annual capital and maintenance budgets.

 - Seeks and supports work process improvements to continuously improve work efficiencies and maximize productivity of the maintenance department. 

 - Uses problem solving tools such as Cause/Effect 5 Why’s to determine failure cause

 - Participates in the Freeport plant leadership team, which drives the strategic direction of the plant

 - Provides technical judgments that help guide business decisions.


 - Typically requires a degree in an engineering discipline.

 - 10+ years of related manufacturing experience and three or more years of team leadership experience is desired.

 - Ability to solve complex, technical problems
