We are seeking a Collections Operator-in-Training for assignment in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater collection system on an assigned shift.

Hours are Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

** This position requires a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement **

** Candidates must be willing to be on-call on a rotating basis **

- Performs a full range of general maintenance and cleaning duties related to the wastewater collection system

- Cleans eighty (80) miles of lines per year as assigned by the city

- Operates a vacuum truck high pressure rodder, to remove debris from inside pipe

- Vacuums debris from lift stations and related structures

- Cleans storm drains using high pressure water sprayer and vacuum.

- Performs repairs to equipment, preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment

- Operates closed circuit televising inspection system; televises underground sewer lines, storm drains, and sewer laterals; identifies any sings of blockage/debris

- Identifies major problems with pipes including cracks, damage, holes, and collapsed pipe

- Maintains ten (10) Lift Stations including cleaning and inspection

- Maintains records of basic operations, maintenance and work performed

- Maintains maintenance records on the CMMS including review of completed work orders before closing work orders

- Participates in on call for the Wastewater Treatment Facility rotation for weekends

- Ability to carry and respond to calls and pages as assigned by management

- Performs other duties as assigned 

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement
