We have an immediate opening for a PLC Programming Technician in the the Kermit/Pecos, TX areas.

- Responsible for ensuring HMI/SCADA visualizations & alarms are within the guidelines of Client standards, accurately represent the process, function as intended and follow appropriate change control protocols.

 - Support for Cygnet Vision and ICONICS screens and alarms used to visualize, historize, monitor and control Oil & Gas processing facilities.

 - Provide daily support to Operations and any other team that may require PLC code validations and HMI/SCADA assistance.

 - All aspects of facility commissioning with focus on automation control systems 

 - Maintain project schedule and meet deadlines.

 - Maintain daily maintenance schedule and communicate completed tasks.

 - Participate in a callout rotation, responding to callouts as required.

 - Participate in strategic discussions geared towards the betterment of the team, services provided, and company.

 - Represent Automation as Subject Matter Experts (SME) for internal and external correspondences.

 - Assist in evaluation of new technologies providing pro and con analogies.

 - Provide training and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.


- 4-year technical degree or equivalent working experience.

-  Strong Delta V Programming experience requiring

- 2+ years of SCADA/HMI experience, (Cygnet and ICONICS)

 - 2+ years of Oil and Gas experience.

 - Advanced knowledge of oil and gas systems.

 - Advanced level of understand in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel and VBA.

 - Excellent knowledge of automation host systems

 - Expert in using test equipment pertaining to job (Fluke 789s, HART Communicator)

 - Able to perform general PM work: testing end devices, temperature shutdowns, pressure switches, level shutdowns

 - Understanding of pneumatic instrumentation: calibration and maintenance

 - Electronically qualified per NFPA 70E

 - Skillful in reading electronic schematics, identifying components, and understanding their functions

 - Able to calibrate and troubleshoot complex PLC programs

 - Knowledgeable about ISA 5.1 tag naming conventions.

 - Knowledgeable about facility technical information such as P&IDs, PFDs, Instrument Indexes, Cause and Effects and ability to redline documents.

 - Advanced Knowledge of PLCs, RTUs, EFMs, POCs (Allan Bradley, Totalflow, ROCs, Coriolis, Weatherford & SAM).

 - Understanding of digital and analog I/O, programming, and troubleshooting.

 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 - Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

 - Strong written, oral and project management skills.

 - Strong teamwork skills.

 - Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and set priorities.

 - Understanding of Windows Server platforms and how to work within the system.

 - Understanding of batch files.

 - Understanding of PSSRs and MOCs.

 - Preferred Experience in Design Reviews and Process Hazard Reviews

 - Ability to perform under pressure.

 - Ability to interact with customers and team members in a positive, professional and constructive manner.

 - Valid driver License.
