- Instrumentation/Control Systems engineering and design.
- The Automation Engineer performs engineering calculations, production of engineering and design deliverables.
- The Automation Engineer ensures work quality of engineering and design efforts.
- Hands on experience of InTools as the design database.
- P&ID development support.
- Development of control and shutdown philosophy.
- The Automation Engineer generates to systems functional specifications.
- Development of DCS, SIS and F/G systems.
- Sizing of control valves, relief valves and flow elements.
- Preparation of instrument datasheets.
- Coordination of the development of mechanical packages.
- The Automation Engineer has familiarization of BMS, CEMS, process analyzers.
- Working knowledge of API 14C.
- Technical bid analysis, procurement and vendor data checking.
- The Automation Engineer makes preparation of subcontract packages.
- Factory inspection of equipment.
- FAT, SAT.
- The Automation Engineer provides construction assistance and field supervision.
- Commissioning and startup.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 10-15 years of relevant industry experience
- Working knowledge of industrial codes: API, ISA, ASME, ANSI, PIP.
- Working knowledge of industrial sizing calculation tools.
