We are seeking an S3D / SP3D Piping Designer for a remote contract-to-direct assignment out of Cincinnati, Ohio. The selected candidate will create equipment and piping models in 3D software under the direction of Lead Designers.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

- Execute piping engineering design

- Develop design estimates

- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes

- Review vendor drawings

- Design components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve them

- Gather information, makes studies, perform calculations and prepare original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal 

- Coordinate design criteria with engineering, tooling, material and planning group in accordance with contractual specifications 

- May assist supervisor in accomplishing field design work to ascertain current conditions, locate new systems and communicate with client personnel 

- May lead a section or group of designers/drafters, usually on a single project in a specialized field 

- Interacts with internal and client personnel 

- Site work and periodic travel may be required 

- High School Diploma or GED

- 10 - 15+ years experience in Piping Design

- Proficient with either S3D or SP3D

- Experience with Navisworks and/or MicroStation is a plus

- Candidates with Pharma experience are highly preferred
