We have an opening for a Project Assistant to work in the Houston, TX area.




Our Client is a global leader in the full service treatment and removal in caustic substances, as well as providing process technology, engineering and equipment to the oil and gas industry.  When it comes to the beneficial reuse and recycling of spent caustics, our client leads the way, turning would-be waste into viable and valuable commodities.



 - Answer and route switchboard calls

 - Greet guests and maintain visitor log and visitor badging

 - Order lunches for meetings

 - Order and inventory of printing/copying supplies

 - Sort and distribute incoming mail and assist with setting up shipping and logging of incoming FedEx and DHL packages

 - Handle and issue controlled documents for MPT projects: set up new projects, review incoming specifications, drawings etc. to assure that all necessary items are received, handle special documentation requirements by clients

 - Coordinate project files per ISO standards

 - Compile Manufacturer Data Books for the customer

 - Set up and follow up on Design Verification meetings and documentation

 - Receive, process, and distribute all vendor documentation during fabrication to as built phase

 - Coordinate Process Engineering packages, simple hardware projects and other small projects while maintaining schedule requirements

 - Responsible for setting up, compiling all Manufacturing Data Books. Responsible for maintaining schedule requirements for Manufacturing Data Books. Work closely with technical services to assure Operating Manual schedules are met.  Run status reports for missing documents and expedite retrieval of approved documents

 - Responsible for setting up and following up on Design Verification meetings and documentation. Responsible for scanning and printing to support the document control system

 - Responsible for receiving, processing, and distributing all vendor documentation during fabrication to as built phase, both electronically and hard copy

 - Attend assigned Project meetings, assist with minutes, and assist Project Managers in meeting deadlines

 - Assist Project Controls with set up of Proposal projects in the the Client's ERP system

 - Assist Project Controls with preparation of invoices in ERP system

 - Continuously improve our commitment to excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety and Security performance

 - Other duties as assigned by management


 - High School diploma or equivalent required

 - 2 years of experience in a related field required

 - Previous document control experience required

 - Discrete with confidential information

 - Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF required

 - Knowledge of Document Management Systems required

 - Familiarity with technical and chemical terminology preferred

 - Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service oriented

 - Able to use critical thinking while working independently in a fast-paced multi-task environment to meet project deadlines
