We have an opening for a Jr I&E Technician to work in the Monahans, TX area.

Our client is a leading midstream services firm in Midland, TX who owns, operates, acquires and develops midstream energy assets. They are one of the largest crude oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the US.

This position will primarily be focused on hooking up generators in field operations. 

Other Responsibilities may include: 

- Shooting Loops and calibration and verification of field instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Functional Checkout (FCO) for Well Facilities

- Planning and conducting independent work to coordinate field labor with Automation Engineers.

- Understanding of P&IDs, electrical processes, and cause & effect matrix.

- Implementing and maintaining remote communications equipment

- Regular monitoring of Control Systems 

- Assisting Automation Engineers in troubleshooting of systems from the field.

- Technical Degree Preferred

- Experience with hooking up generators and general generator maintenance.

- 1-3 years' experience as either an Electrician or I&E Technician
