We have an opening for a Pump Mechanic in the Odessa, TX area.

Our Client is an American energy company operating principally in the U.S. and Canada, that specializes in the drilling and production of unconventional oil and natural gas assets.  Our client has a reputation for efficient resource development, environmental stewardship and community involvement, with a drive to meet the growing challenges of the domestic natural gas industry.

Pump mechanic requirements are as follows:

- Change seals

- Complete pump swaps

- Knowledge of PC and centrifugal pumps

- Familiar with LOTO

- Experience working with SCADA is required

- 4+ years of Oilfield Lease / Production Operations experience required

- Ability to work a full-time work schedule, + Overtime

- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record

- Proficient in the use of computers utilizing a MS Office environment

- General mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

- Must have experience with Centrifugal and Triplex pumps

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision

- Technical skills related to math and analytical processes 

- Strong initiative and self-starter

- Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization

- High School diploma or GED required, with some college or technical training a plus
