We are seeking a Process Engineer for a direct assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The selected candidate will work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities in the field of Biopharmaceuticals.  

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

** Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Fill/Finish experience is required **

** Relocation assistance will be considered **

- Establish process design basis

- Develop process options and optimizations of selected design

- Calculate and organize data for process flow sheets

- PFD and P&ID Development

- Preparing and evaluating bid and purchase specifications for process and clean utility equipment (e.g. Bioreactor and Fermentation Skids, Harvest Skids, UF-DF Skids WFI Pre-treatment, WFI Stills, Clean Steam Generators, chromatography columns and pressure vessels)

- Calculating loads for clean utilities, line sizing, and distribution design (e.g. water for injection, clean steam and process gases)

- Calculating and organizing data and interfacing with other disciplines, such as: instrument data for I&C or electrical loadings, HVAC, etc.

- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering

- 5+ years of experience working within the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or Fill Finish Projects/Sectors

- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

- Working knowledge of AFT Products (Arrow and Fathom) and Plant design software such as Aspen
