We have an opening for an IT/DCS Architecural Engineer to work in the Kingsport, TN area.

The IT/DCS Architecture Engineer performs a wide range of duties, including the following:
- Provide ICS/OT technical support with a focus on ICS/OT/IT Networking in both the physical and virtual
- Install, configure, and maintain OT/DMZ assets relating to ICS systems globally. These include, but are not limited to, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, Storage systems, Racks, Cabling,
- Consultation and design for ICS Traffic exfiltrating to the corporate environment
- Assist ICS team members with switch and firewall configuration requests
- Maintain system configuration documentation
- Install and support ICS intrusion detection systems
- Provide ICS incident response
- Support ICS Active Directory and Trust initiative
- Support User Login Reporting, single sign-on and ICS account management
- Perform and maintain elements of ICS management and administration SOP, including, but not limited to, OS patching, Anti-Virus updating, contingency response, and system security.
- Assist with corporate AV, Backup, Patching, USB and other security solutions
- Install, monitor, and diagnose data communication networks, including but not limited to, serial, Ethernet and OPC
- Stay abreast of new technologies and other industry practices through attendance at user symposiums, meetings with vendors, vendor training, and review of industry literature
- Evaluate new products by participation in Beta Testing of software and hardware in cooperation with vendors
- Coordinate network, software and hardware upgrades for production plants typically including DNS, Routing, NATing, Switching and Firewall changes
- Write and present training programs for other engineers and technicians
- Provide IT equipment specifications to support procurement and construction activities for activities for projects
- Participate with ICS team members on improvement projects related to IT elements
- Perform above duties with attention to safety in both work practices and design
- Perform above duties with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
- Support the Management of Change process
- Prioritize work assignments based on the safety, environmental, regulatory, and economic value
The IT/DCS Architecture Engineer requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Bachelor (BS) or Master's (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university is preferred but not required, in consideration of other industry certifications, including:
- Microsoft Certified, MCP, MCSA, MCITP
- Cisco Certified, CCNA, CCDA
- VMware Certified Professional, VCP3, VCP4
- Network+, Security+
- Experience in an industrial IT environment is desired
- 10+ years of ICS Network/ Security engineering experience required
Working conditions:
- Position Type: Contract Basis
