We are seeking a Mid-Level Instrument and Controls Engineer for a contract-to-direct assignment in San Jose, California. The selected candidate will work on projects that include state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

** This position is on-site **

- Install, program and commission facility control systems for semiconductor manufacturing tools, in support of new construction and retrofit projects

- Provide on-site assistance during equipment startup

- Coordinate work activities with other staff members

- Gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule

- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

- 4+ years experience working with Instrumentation and Control Systems

- Working knowledge of PLC's

- Working knowledge of PLC programming and Controls applications

- An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) is highly preferred
